Mirrors Red Band Trailer

A red band trailer has been released for Mirrors, upcoming horror movie directed by Alexandre Aja and starring Kiefer Sutherland:

Unfortunately this restricted trailer shows that the remake does not even equal the original Korean movie Into The Mirror... They are just over using blood and awful scenes to brand the Mirror as gore, but that does not make a great horror movie, maybe scary but not great... They should have followed what have been done with The Eye.

Mirrors Teaser

Director Alexandre Aja is working on the horror movie Mirrors, a remake of an Asian movie. The film is starring Kiefer Sutherland as the main character, an ex-cop who tries to protects his family from some evil force.

Here below the first official teaser of Mirrors:

Plot:
"A man is head of security at a department store plagued by unexplained deaths. The store is also the target of demonstrators wanting compensation for an earlier staff fire tragedy. The man becomes intrigued by a disturbed woman. She claims her sister, who died in the fire, is exacting revenge, using mirrors as a gateway back into the living world." (Source: Wikipedia)

Not enough to judge the movie with only this teaser. But one nice thing though: the wife of Kiefer Sutherland in the movie is not a white woman. Hollywood should show such mixed couple more often: that's the new face of America after all! Indeed: seven million Americans identified themselves as mixed-race in the 2000 census according to the New York Times (see here).

Mirrors Original Korean Movie Into The Mirror

The upcoming movie Mirrors directed by Alexandre Aja and starring Kiefer Sutherland is actually a remake of a South Korean film titled Into The Mirror.

The Korean movie was quite well done as a debut film of director Kim Seong-ho.

Someone on youtube nicely commented about the movie:

"It was the Most terrible film, I've ever watched...
No, The film is very well, but the subject and this scary things that happens are terrible...
